Comments error

You currently cannot display the comments to my post [Wood mobbing]. Sorry about that. I filed the bug to dasBlog workspace. But how can I fix it? Cannot jump to the commentview.aspx because of the error to manually remove the "bad" comments causing the exception...

Thanks to Bandit's "Sent Items" folder I can repeat the invisible comments here:

1) :-( Still does not work. Title is wrong (empty), and category is not considered. Do I have to use a different blog endpoint than "/blog/blogger.aspx" ?

2) Second: the whole post seems to create an invalid description. My post detail did not render with the template in Bandit. Maybe I should improve my MailThis plugin to be used as a blog this as quote similar to the w.bloggar plugin...

3) Yeah! Found the "bug": the new SgmlReader version we use in current dev.state converts all element/attribute names to uppercase by default.

Please note: (3) is NOT the bug causing the dasBlog exception, that was a RSS Bandit issue that I now have fixed on CVS.

Hi Torsten,

It looks like you must have it working now (the title and category appear correct). If so, could you post your wBloggar settings here? I've been trying to get wBloggar working with our intranet blogs and am not able to find the right combination of settings.

Kind regards,

JD

No. I've corrected title and category by hand with the web frontend of dasBlog after my post using w.bloggar. The settings in general you can find here: http://www.dasblog.net/documentation/CategoryView.aspx?category=BloggerAPI
Because of the changes made in rel. 1.5 of dasBlog, I tried to get it work with a different "Custom" setting, but as I examind the code now, there is nothing that extract category/title out of the content, it is just initialized to an empty string. So I think, it is just not fully implemented (the category list is correctly displayed if you change the custom settings of w.bloggar to blogger API)

Cheers, Torsten... I just saw your latest post with some settings, so I'll give those a go. I had used the settings you point to at dasBlog.net, but like you I ran into oddities with the titles/categories.

Thanks,

JD
